Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

LOLgraphs is an independent, third-party League of Legends stat tracker operated by an individual developer. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at leaguestatgraphs@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

LOLgraphs does not require an account for general use. However, certain features (such as supporting the project) require signing in. The data we collect depends on how you use the Service:

• Summoner lookups — when you search a summoner name, we request that data from the Riot Games API in real time. We do not store your search history on our servers.
• Saved profiles— stored only in your browser's local storage on your own device. We never receive or store them.
• Google account (if you sign in) — when you sign in with Google to make a donation, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store your email address and a unique user ID in our database solely to manage your subscription.
• Payment data — if you choose to support LOLgraphs, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number or payment details. We store your subscription plan and status (e.g. active, cancelled) in our database, linked to your account.
• Contact form — if you submit a message via the contact form, we collect your message and, if you are signed in, your email address. This is used solely to respond to your message.
• Analytics — we use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (pages visited, session duration, general location by country). This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
• Advertising — we use Google AdSense to display advertisements. AdSense may use cookies and collect data about your visit (such as pages viewed and interests) to serve relevant ads. This data is handled by Google under their privacy policy. You can opt out of personalised ads via Google's Ad Settings.

3. How we use your data

• To process and manage your subscription via Stripe.
• To display your supporter badge and tier on the site.
• To respond to messages submitted through the contact form.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it (via Google Analytics).

We do not sell your data. Anonymous usage and ad-serving data is handled by Google (Analytics and AdSense) as described above. We do not profile you for our own advertising purposes beyond what Google AdSense does on our behalf.

4. Cookies

LOLgraphs uses a session cookie to keep you signed in if you authenticate with Google. Google Analytics may set its own cookies to measure site usage. Google AdSense may set cookies to serve and personalise advertisements. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics. You can opt out of Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and opt out of personalised ads via Google's Ad Settings.

5. Third-party services

• Riot Games API— used to retrieve publicly available League of Legends summoner data. Riot's Privacy Notice governs data held by Riot.
• Google OAuth, Analytics & AdSense— Google is used for sign-in, anonymous usage analytics, and ad serving via AdSense. Google may use cookies to personalise ads based on your browsing activity. Google's Privacy Policy applies to data Google handles.
• Stripe — used to process subscription payments securely. Stripe handles all card data. Their Privacy Policy governs payment data.
• Resend— used to send contact form messages to the developer. Your message and email (if signed in) are transmitted through Resend's infrastructure. Their Privacy Policy applies.
• Supabase — our database provider, used to store account and subscription data. Data is stored in the United States.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with the third-party services listed above and only to the extent necessary to operate the Service (e.g. passing your email to Stripe to create a subscription, or to Resend to deliver your contact message). Browsing data (such as pages visited) may be shared with Google for ad serving via AdSense, as described in section 2. We do not share your personal account data (name, email, payment status) with any advertiser.

7. Data retention

If you have a subscription, your account and subscription records are stored in our database for as long as needed to manage it. If you cancel and request deletion, email us and we will remove your data. Contact form messages are retained only as long as needed to respond. Saved profiles in your browser can be cleared by clearing local storage. Google Analytics data is retained per Google's own retention policies.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing leaguestatgraphs@gmail.com. For users in the EU/EEA or UK, you may also have rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

9. Children

LOLgraphs is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you have any concerns, please contact us.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we will update this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
